The Sonos Amp provides the brains to your system and powers the Monitor Audio C165 speakers with an impressive 125W per channel. Inbuilt binding posts will allow you to easily connect your C165 speakers and integrate them with a multi-room Sonos system around the home. The Amp can also be connected to a TV or wirelessly paired with a Sonos soundbar for expert handling of your surround sound.

Hassle-Free Setup and Installation

Cabling is minimal and stress-free. You will just need to connect each Monitor Audio C165 ceiling speaker back to the Sonos Amp via a length of 16 Gauge 2-core Speaker Cable. You will not need to purchase separate banana plugs as they’re inbuilt into the Amp and speakers.

Monitor Audio’s innovative Tri-grip system is employed to aid your speakers’ installation, meaning you won’t need any additional mounting apparatus. A shallow mounting depth of 114mm makes the C165s perfect for the majority of ceiling voids.

How It Works With Sonos

The Monitor Audio C165s are ideal for use with the Sonos Amp for wireless music control and easy multi-room functionality. You will need to connect each speaker back to the Sonos Amp using 2-core speaker cable.

You’ll be able to connect a maximum of 2x Monitor Audio C165 speaker pairs to one Sonos Amp, making this the perfect bundle to fill a larger room with music. The speakers can then be controlled through the Sonos App giving you the ability to easily stream music, digital radio, podcasts and more.

The Sonos Amp will connect to your TV via HDMI Arc or wirelessly pair with a Sonos Sound bar for use as part of a surround sound system.
