Do You Need Waterproof or Moisture-Resistant Speakers?

Not all bathroom speakers are fully waterproof. Moisture-resistant models are suitable for most standard bathrooms where condensation is present. For wet rooms, shower cubicles or areas exposed to direct water contact, an IP rated speaker is the safer choice. If you're unsure which rating your space requires, contact our team who are happy to help.

Single Stereo vs Dual Speaker Setup

In smaller bathrooms or en-suites, a single stereo ceiling speaker can be a practical solution. These combine both left and right channels into one unit, delivering stereo sound from a single ceiling cut-out.

Important: single stereo speakers require separate left and right wiring connections. They must be wired using 4-core cable or two 2-core cables, not a single standard 2-core cable. For larger bathrooms, installing two speakers will provide better sound coverage and a wider soundstage.

Bluetooth & Active Bathroom Ceiling Speakers

If you're looking for a simpler setup, active in-ceiling speakers with built-in Bluetooth allow you to stream music directly from your phone without a separate amplifier. These are ideal for bathroom upgrades where running speaker cable to an external amp isn’t practical.
