Bringing vinyl into the 21st Century, the PS-LX310BT makes for a neat compromise between Hi-Fi systems of old and modern streaming technology to give us a Bluetooth turntable that still works via line-in when connected to a more traditional source. The headshell is fully integrated and tonearm will automatically find its place at the start of the record so that all you need to do is press a button.

2 Speed Control & Quality Components

Sony’s Belt-driven Bluetooth turntable offers both 33 ⅓ and 45 RPM operating speeds and an innovative ‘Gain’ switch that will enhance the audio level of your record from ‘low’, ‘medium’ and ‘high’ without distorting the sound. 

The PS-LX310BT’s tonearm has been refreshed with a straight, fully aluminium construction to offer greater stability for a clearer and more true-to-life sound. The Aluminium die-cast platter gives your vinyl a solid and stable bass for the most accurate playback.

Plug & Play Functionality

Traditionally, you’d need to connect your turntable directly into a speaker or amplifier and may even need to use an external preamp to get your system up and running. Whilst there’s nothing wrong with this, it’s easy to accumulate a lot of different cables running a traditional system which is something that Sony have all but eradicated in the PS-LX310BT. 

It’s easy to connect to your chosen Bluetooth device, which could be anything from a bluetooth amplifier or speaker to a pair of headphones for a more private vinyl listening experience. Bluetooth functionality also makes it easy to position your chosen source away from the Turntable, making the PS-LX310BT more accommodating of different room layouts.

Classic Design

A monochrome black case gives the PS-LX310BT a refined look, in keeping with a minimalist modern aesthetic. Gone are the days of bulky Hi-Fi set-ups with multiple components, the PS-LX310BT offers an all-in-one approach with integrated pre-amp and a thick hinged dust cover for protection of the deck.

The PS-LX310BT has a fully automatic tonearm, meaning the tonearm will lift, move and position itself on the edge of the record at the touch of a button. One-step auto playback with begin spinning the platter to begin playback as soon as the needle touches the record, with the tonearm lifting and resetting when the record has finished playing. 

Compatibility

Designed with easy set-up at its heart, the PS-LX310BT can be used with a variety of different speakers, headphones and amplifiers providing they support bluetooth connection. If you wanted to opt for a more traditional wired set-up, you can use the RCA line-out on the back of the turntable to connect into your chosen audio source. The PS-LX310BT’s inbuilt phono preamp means you won’t need to add an extra piece of equipment to your system.
