Can you pair 2 x Sonos Sub Mini?

No, unlike the Sonos Sub (Gen 3) you can only pair one Sonos Sub Mini to your setup. You also cannot pair a Sonos Sub Mini with a Sonos Sub (Gen 3).

Can you pair the Sonos Sub Mini with a Sonos Arc?

You can pair the Sub Mini with the Sonos Arc. Sonos recommends only using this pairing in smaller spaces or if you frequently listen at higher volumes. For larger spaces & listening at higher volumes you might find the Sonos Sub (Gen 3) delivers a better performance.

Where should you position the Sonos Sub Mini in your room?

The Sonos Sub Mini needs to be stood upright but with a small footprint and compact design, it can sit anywhere in a room. The optimum placement for Sub Mini in a home theatre setup would be on the front wall near the soundbar. You can place it in a corner to emphasise the lower frequencies. 

Should I buy the Sonos Sub (Gen 3) or the Sub Mini?

The choice will come down to your budget, size of room and listening volumes. The Sub Mini is best suited to small-medium sized rooms and lower listening volumes, while the Sub (Gen 3) offers more power to fill a larger space at louder volumes.
