With a complete acoustic overhaul, the Era 100 brings stereo sound from a single speaker. With a dual-tweeter acoustic architecture, two angled tweeters for crisp vocals are combined with custom waveguides that amplify dispersion of sound waves for an even wider soundstage.

A 25% larger mid woofer delivers deeper bass, accurate mid-range vocal frequencies and a more impactful audio performance. All powered by three Class-D digital amplifiers which are precisely tuned for the speaker’s unique internals.

The Era 100 also features a 47% faster co-neural processor to enhance performance and future-proof the speaker for future upgrades.

Two Sonos Era 100s are a great addition to a Sonos soundbar to deliver rear surround sound. The added bass and wide soundstage further enhances immersion for your movie nights, sports and more.

Pair with the compact Sonos Ray, Sonos Beam (Gen 2) or premium Sonos Arc soundbar and take the immersion one step further by adding a Sonos subwoofer.

Now with WiFi 6, enjoy high-quality audio streaming (including lossless) with no worry of interruptions. For added versatility, Sonos have added Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity so anyone can stream audio without needing to be on your WiFi network.

Alternative methods of connectivity include AirPlay 2 for Apple users and the Sonos S2 app. The app enables you to group different Sonos zones in your home, adjust EQ settings and stream from a large selection of services including Tidal, Spotify, Apple Music & Sonos Radio.

The Era 100 also has a far-field microphone array which uses advanced beamforming and multichannel echo cancellation for accurate voice control. Choose from Amazon Alexa or Sonos Voice to control playback hands-free.

Want some privacy? Use the microphone switch to cut the power to the microphones.

Perfect for external audio sources

Line-in connectivity

Era 100 also features a line-in port so you can connect an external audio source like a turntable or CD player with an aux cable and Sonos line-in adapter (sold separately). Once connected, you can then stream to any other Sonos speakers on your WiFi network.

Alternatively, the line-in can be used to connect the speaker to your router with an ethernet cable and Sonos combo adapter.

New Trueplay Tuning technology

Trueplay tuning for Android and iOS devices - Sonos’ unique software to measure the acoustics of your space and optimise performance by adjusting the EQ.

• IOS devices can use Advanced Tuning which uses the microphones in your iOS device.
• Android users can use a Quick Tuning method which uses the microphones of the speaker to carry out Trueplay.

Note: if you use a pair of Era 100 speakers as surround sound rears with a Sonos soundbar, you will require a supported iOS device for Trueplay.

Can you use the Sonos S1 Controller with Era 100?

Era 100 requires the latest generation of the Sonos app (Sonos S2).

Can you use Bluetooth as soon as you plug in the speaker?

No, you must set up Era 100 on WiFi via the Sonos app before you can pair a Bluetooth device. If you use a pair as rear speakers for home cinema surround sound, Bluetooth will be disabled.

Can you use Bluetooth with a stereo pair?

Yes, you can stream audio via Bluetooth to a stereo pair.

Can you group speakers while using Bluetooth?

Yes. Like with the Sonos Roam and Move, you can group Era 100 with other products in your Sonos system via WiFi, even when playing content from a Bluetooth source?

How do you use line in with Era 100?

You will need to purchase a Sonos Line-In Adapter and a 3.5mm auxiliary cable to connect an audio device.

Can you use a third-party adapter for line in?

No. It’s recommended to use the Sonos Line-In Adapter for a reliable connection. The majority of USB-C to 3.5mm adapters on the market currently are intended for line out (headphones) and don’t support line in.

Can you connect Era 100 to your TV?

The line-in connection is not designed to work with a TV and you would therefore experience latency and/or lip sync issues while the audio is converted from analog to digital. You can connect a pair of Era 100 speakers to a Sonos soundbar to be used as the rear surround sounds.

Is there an ethernet port on the Era 100?

There is no ethernet port on the Era 100. To hardwire your speaker, you can use the Sonos Combo Adapter, which features both an ethernet port and 3.5mm line input. These connections require an ethernet cable and aux cable.
