Key Features

The Ventura 5s are perfectly sized for medium outdoor spaces; such as large patios, pool rooms or mid-sized gardens. Using a two-way design consisting of a 25mm anodised aluminium tweeter and 5.25” injection molded woofer; the KEF Ventura 5s will handle your outdoor audio with accuracy.

Tonally tuned to match the rest of the KEF CI-Series of installation speakers, the Ventura 5s are the ideal choice as part of a complete KEF multi-room speaker system.

Weatherproof Design

Certified at IP65, the Ventura 5s are well-protected against both dust and water exposure. They’ve also been tested against Salt Spray exposure for over 1200 hours, making them suitable for installation on a boat.

With an operating temperature range of -40 to +70⁰C, you’re well protected against all extremes of the Great British weather. The powder-coated aluminium grilles and rubber grille surrounds create a weather and rust proof sealed enclosure to withstand all weather conditions. 

How They Work

The Kef Ventura 5s are passive, wall-mountable speakers that require power from a separate amplifier. You can pair them with any system that best suits you, as the Ventura 5s are compatible with any HiFi amplifier. 

We love the Kef Ventura 5 and Sonos Amp bundle for a true multiroom, indoor/ outdoor listening experience. When connected to the Sonos Amp, your KEF Ventura 4s will become part of your Sonos ecosystem, allowing you to use the Sonos App for control and group the speakers to other Sonos speakers in your home.

Hassle-Free Installation

Supplied with standard mounting brackets, the Ventura 5 speakers are flexible to place and easy to angle to just the right position. This versatile bracket gives a wide range of horizontal or vertical adjustment. As a final neat touch, the KEF grille badge can be rotated to suit vertical or horizontal positioning.

You’ll need to run one length of 16 Gauge 2-Core Speaker Cable between each speaker and the amplifier you’re using to power them. This is the only cabling you’ll need to run to set up your outdoor speaker system.
