Superb Audio Quality

Offering superior bass depth when compared with the Xtreme 2, this new third iteration houses four drivers and a pair of rumbling JBL bass radiators. A step up from the coveted JBL Charge 5, the Xtreme 3 is perfect for using at a larger gathering to fill a room.

A true party speaker, the JBL Xtreme 3 also features an AUX input on the back, allowing you to connect a wired music source to the speaker as well as relying on the wireless connection over Bluetooth 5.1.

Bluetooth 5.1 and JBL PartyBoost

Powerful Bluetooth 5.1 integration offers an impressive 40m approx. of connectivity, meaning you won't be left short without connection when taking the Xtreme 3 out on your next adventure. Pairing is quick and doesn’t suffer from faults, so you won’t miss a minute of your favourite tunes and audio content.

The JBL Party Boost feature can be enabled to stereo pair two Xtreme 3s for a more impactful, separated sound stage. This feature can be further utilised to link up to 100 Party Boost enabled speakers in a group, a neat touch if you and a friend want to pair your speakers up for a party or gathering.

Charging and Battery Life

The Xtreme 3 features a USB-A charging port allowing you to plug in and charge your devices on the go. We love the Xtreme 3 for taking away on camping trips or weekends away, as you can quickly charge up your phone without needing to pack a separate charging brick.

15 hours of playback time from a single charge further safeguards you on your adventures, as you won’t need to worry about the music stopping. The USB-C charging port will allow you to charge up the speaker easily, and an LED power indicator is inbuilt to tip you off when the battery is getting low.

IP67 Weatherproof Design

In your choice of black, navy blue or camo, the JBL Xtreme 3 features a handy, woven carry strap (with built-in bottle opener!) making it easy to carry around. At 298.5mm in length, it’s quite large compared to other portable options on the market, but at only 1.98kg it’s not too bulky and could definitely be taken away in a backpack or suitcase.

The IP67 water rating means the Xtreme 3 can survive being submerged for up to 30 minutes in a meter of water, so you won’t need to worry about using this speaker on the side of the pool or by the sea. It’s also protected against dust exposure and sports a rugged metal grille and end caps making it perfect for a day at the beach!
