Added Bass
A true step up from traditional portable speakers, the Boombox 2 offers loud, distortion-free sound courtesy of its dual 20mm tweeter and pair of 4-inch woofers. Two passive radiators positioned at either end of the speaker give the speaker its iconic Boombox sound and feel, to pump out a large and bassy sound that will drive your house party, gym session or barbeque.
The performance is clean even at higher listening volumes and provides a great bass output to make it a true party speaker. The JBL Boombox 2 even has an AUX port on the back to connect up wired music sources.
Bluetooth 5.1 and JBL PartyBoost
Powerful Bluetooth 5.1 integration offers an impressive 40m approx. of connectivity, meaning you won't be left short without connection when taking the Boombox 2 out on your next adventure. Pairing is quick and doesn’t suffer from faults, so you won’t miss a minute of your favourite tunes and audio content.
The JBL Party Boost feature can be enabled to stereo pair two Boombox 2s for a more impactful, separated sound stage. This feature can be further utilised to link up to 100 Party Boost enabled speakers in a group, a neat touch if you and a friend want to pair your speakers up for a party or gathering.
Long Battery Life
Giving a new definition to partying day and night, the JBL Boombox 2 offers an incredible 24-hour battery life so you won’t have to stop the fun early. An empty-full charge will take 6.5hours, which is pretty quick considering the size and battery life of the speaker.
The Boombox 2 features a USB-A charging port allowing you to plug in and charge your devices on the go. In our mind, this makes the Boombox 2 the perfect speaker for long nights, as you can quickly charge up your phone without needing to find a power point.
IPX7 Waterproof Design
Available in your choice of black or camo, the Boombox 2 sports a sleek design that evokes all the best bits of a traditional boombox whilst maintaining a modern and refreshed feel. Complete with a grip carry handle, the JBL Boombox 2 sports a cylindrical design that gives those powerful internal tweeters and woofers space to perform at their best.
The IPX7 water rating means the Flip 5 can survive being submerged for up to 30 minutes in a meter of water, so you won’t need to worry about using this speaker on the side of the pool or by the sea.
