Enabled with Dolby Atmos, this soundbar delivers a layered 3D sound experience that goes above and beyond. The Dione soundbar has a 17 driver array (more drivers than a traditional soundbar) in a 5.1.2 surround-channel configuration with 5 ground channels, a subwoofer channel and 2 upper channels removing the need for separate components. Powered by high-end drivers, the Dione delivers deep infrabass and crystal-clear treble for a cinematic viewing experience.

Meet the ORB

Devialet have introduced a new patented design sleek central ORB in the Dione, a nod to the signature aesthetic of their renowned Phantom speakers. The sphere has the ability to rotate to maintain a front-facing orientation and adapts both mechanically and acoustically to the position of the soundbar. This enables dual orientation with the choice of either a wall-mounted position or placement on a piece of furniture.

The ORB has been designed to spread vocals into the centre of the room and deliver crystal-clear mid-range reproduction for your TV content.

Devialet’s Room Optimisation App uses the Dione’s 4 calibration microphones to establish its surroundings and acoustically optimise the soundbar to perform at its best in your space.

AVL™ (Adaptable Volume Level) technology is the Dione’s dynamic equalizer and adapts the sound performance to the content you’re watching in real time for an enhanced listening experience where you don’t miss any of the action.

Meanwhile the Devialet Intelligence Processor combines Devialet’s amplification and signal processing technologies (ADH®, SAM®, Magic Wire, Class A, DAC) into a single, one-square-centimetre System on a Chip (SoC), custom-designed for optimal efficiency.

Within the app, you’ll find Devialet’s up-mixing SPACE technology with 4 sound enhancement presets for finetuning the soundstage to suit the content you’re watching.

1. Movie Mode - Converts any mono and stereo content into 5.1.2 multichannel audio optimised for movies when connected using HDMI and Optical inputs
2. Voice Mode - Optimises the audio & boost the accuracy of voices for voice-forward content such as podcasts, audiobooks or news programs.
3. Spatial Mode - Putting you at the centre of the action, this setting upscales any music streamed over AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, Spotify connect or any other music streaming service into an immersive 5.1.2 Spatial Audio track.
4. Music Mode - Designed to get the most out of your audio tracks, this mode disables spatialization effects and optimises stereo content for a purist two-channel performance.

Compatibility & Control

A single eARC HDMI connection to your TV is all that’s needed to access incredible sound and effortless control. The Dione comes equipped with a 2.1 eArc/ARC HDMI input to ensure audio is transmitted with zero compression. If your TV doesn’t feature HDMI Arc or eArc, you can still use an optical connection. CEC gives you the option to control playback from your TV’s own remote control for simplicity.

You have a wealth of connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, Spotify Connect, AirPlay 2 & UPnP. Plus, you can upgrade your home audio further by integrating a Phantom multiroom setup using AirPlay 2 with multiple Devialet speakers connected around your home.
