Featuring all-weather construction, the Monitor Audio Climate 60 speakers are specially designed to suit harsher, outdoor conditions. The weatherproof cabinets are moisture and UV resistant and designed to withstand extremes in temperature. Aluminium grilles and rugged brackets are naturally equipped to prevent rust.

GOLD DOME C-CAM TWEETER

Coated with a weatherproof ceramic and an alloy made up of aluminium and magnesium it has also been anodised with gold to a thickness with ideal stiffness and damping.
Featuring a brand new profile and geometry, the Climate 60s have been developed to the highest standard of sound reproduction thanks to its advanced modelling tools.
HD music and cinema sound formats are no problem for the Climate 60s as the first order of breakup extends to beyond 35kHz matching the wide frequency this content produces.
The gold dome is slimmer, weighs less and is more sturdy and therefore more efficient than altervnative domes manufactured from other materials vulnerable to distortion in the audio band.

C-Cam Drivers

Standing for ceramic-coated aluminium/magnesium, it is a unique material originally produced by the aerospace industry specifically for jet engine parts. The material has a number of extending benefits to loudspeaker cones:

Lightweight but extremely rigid to maintain maximum efficiency
Traditional cones are susceptible to flexing or twisting during use, creating a higher level of distortion but the C-CAM cones have a much greater resistance to bending stress from the elements.
True cohesion and realism from a combination of C-CAM tweeters and woofers resulting in completely smooth transitioning of frequencies
