Inverted Dual Concentric Design

A unique, pivotable midrange and tweeter module offers up to 18 degrees of play, to allow for discreet positioning of the speakers whilst still directing sound towards the listener.

This 3-way speaker design best disperses audio evenly throughout your room to make sure you get the best audio experience wherever you’re sat.

Compensation Switches

Optimum performance can be achieved even after set-up, using the compensation switches on the C265-IDC. High-frequency level can be adjusted by +3dB/ -3dB or can be set flat.

Additionally, boundary compensation can be toggled on or off which will aid in removing any bass boom.

To access these compensation switches, you’ll just need to remove the magnetic grille and you’ll be able to adjust these settings manually.

Housing a 6.5” C-CAM bass driver, 4” C-CAM RST inverted midrange driver and 1” Gold Dome Tweeter, the Monitor Audio C265-IDC is well placed to offer a detailed and rich sound performance for both music and TV use.

The Monitor Audio C265-IDC is simple to install with built-in binding posts as part of Monitor Audio’s innovative Tri-Grip system. It also has a magnetic grille which clips on easily. The Monitor Audio C265-IDCs are designed to be used as part of a stereo pair.

How to Power

The C265-IDC requires an amplifier and Monitor Audio recommends an amplifier power of between 20-85 watts. With an impedance rating of 6 Ohms, the C265-IDC is capable of reproducing a frequency range of 60Hz-30kHz. 

Our recommended pairing is with the Sonos Amp for easy set-up and wireless music control.

Connect via 2-core speaker cable. Our recommended cable for runs under 30m is the 16 gauge 2 core speaker cable.
