Uni-Core Drive Units

Delivering up to 1kW of power from twin 500W Class D digital power amplifiers, the KEF KC62 is capable of a punchy 105dB of low-frequency performance. Despite its small form, the ultra-compact KC62 is capable of accurate and deep performance whether you’re enjoying music, movie or gaming content thanks to its 6.5” force cancelling Uni-Core drive units.

Its twin Class D amplifiers are capable of providing exceptional levels of control, along with the ability to deliver sudden bursts of power when required. Whether it’s a high-speed action scene or the drop in your favourite dance tune, the KEF KC62 subwoofer is on hand to maximise the impact.

Minimal Distortion

P-Flex Surround Design

A unique driver design inspired by the Japanese art of Origami, the KC62’s P-Flex Surround design has a pleated surface engineered to best resist any acoustic pressure in the cabinet. The driver can therefore move with greater precision than seen with traditional driver designs, deepening the bass reproduction.

The bass you experience is also more crisp and accurate thanks to P-Flex Surround Design. KEF have also employed Smart Distortion Control Technology along with a Music Integrity Engine to maintain bass accuracy.

This subwoofer’s versatile connection options make the KC62 compatible with almost any audio system. KEF SmartConnect functionality and speaker level inputs eliminate any connection issues for a smooth and easy set-up.

Featuring a line output with HPF, integration is completely fine-tuned. Both the input and output are in the form of RCA phono sockets.

With an extruded aluminium outer case, the KC62’s curved cabinet perfectly combines style with functionality. At just 246mm high, 63% smaller in volume than the KF92, the KC62 is sure to blend into the background whilst also cutting a minimalist shape in its simple Carbon Black and Mineral White finish.

Not just made to look nice, the KEF KC62 also features 5 performance presets to adjust the bass output to perfectly match your space. These Room Placement Equalisation Features ensure the same performance is achieved no matter whether the subwoofer is up against a wall, in a corner, sat in a cabinet or in a smaller apartment.
