Equipped with industry-leading Auto-Retransmission technology, the new Bowers & Wilkins PI7 in-ear wireless headphones will not only allow you to connect to in-flight audio systems, but also to an Analogue or USB-C line-in device. Paired with Bluetooth 5.0, a 20 hour battery life and 24bit sound resolution, the PI7s are the perfect premium wireless earphone choice.
True Wireless Bluetooth and Auto-Retransmission
Bluetooth 5.0 is built into the PI7s to offer an impressive and stable connectivity range of approximately 40m in indoor settings. Equipped with aptX Adaptive, the PI7s will offer high-resolution audio quality thanks to Qualcomm connectivity.
The PI7s are equipped with a Wireless Qi Charging case which will also double up as an Auto-Retransmission system. The charging case can be connected to an analogue or USB-C audio device and retransmit this audio to your headphones. For any frequent flyers, this innovative feature will allow you to tune-in to in-flight entertainment systems. Auto-Retransmission mode offers 16 bit, CD Quality audio reproduction. The PI7s can also be used with your phone's native voice assistant service, such as Siri or Google Assistant, when connected.
Impressive Sound Quality and Adaptive Noise Cancellation
9.2mm dual hybrid drivers with balanced Armature Drive units power your audio for a crisp and clear audio profile. Quad amplifiers have been employed to power each driver individually, and advanced Digital Signal Processing will minimise distortion.
As Bowers & Wilkins customers have come to expect, audio quality and driver performance is at the heart of the PI7’s design. Thanks to aptX Adaptive Bluetooth technology, the PI7s will allow you to stream audio in 24-bit resolution, giving you performance that exceeds CD quality. Three microphones in each earbud will also work to filter out surrounding background noise as part of built-in Adaptive Noise Cancellation.
Battery Life
Both Wireless and USB-C Charging are supported. When fully charged, you’ll benefit from 4 hours of charge time built into the earbuds. On top of this, the Wireless charging case will store a massive 16 hours of additional charge time meaning you could go up to 20 hours of continuous playtime in total between charging the PI7s.
Quick Charge support has been factored into the PI7s’ design, offering an impressive 2 hours of battery life from just 15 minutes of charge time. We love this feature for commuters or those who travel frequently, as it will give you a decent amount of charge in no time at all.
In-Ear, IP54 Rated Weatherproof Design
In your choice of Charcoal or White finish, the PI7s have been perfectly crafted to compliment B&W’s premium aesthetic. The PI7s feature a one-button touch User Interface allowing you to make voice assistant commands and other control motions.
The PI7s have been carefully considered for all-day comfort. Multiple silicon earbud size options are included in the pack and automatic wear detection means the PI7s will intuitively pick up on when audio should start playing.
Any athletic audio fans out there will be pleased to know the PI7s are IP54 weather rated. Though we’d caution against dropping these in water as this rating does not protect against submersion, they’ll be perfectly fine to take out on sweaty runs or to dustier environments.
