The award-winning Bowers and Wilkins 600 series has turned 25, and to celebrate the team at B&W have elevated and refined the 603 floorstanders with an optimised crossover and updated appearance. The new model now boasts a unique trim-ring to celebrate this status.

Building On A Legacy - What's New?

The new 603 S2 Anniversary Edition keeps the best of what we love about the 600 range, with fine-tuned details that offer the best of audio clarity and authenticity. 

A new crossover has been installed in the Anniversary 603s. This will result in improved resolution and transparency as the lower and upper audio threshold is divided more accurately and evenly for the most precise playback.

Refined Tweeter For Precise Audio

The Anniversary Edition 603 boasts a refined and upgraded version of their proven 25mm Decoupled Double Dome Aluminium Tweeter utilised in the 6th iteration of the 600 series. 

The decoupled tweeter offers 38kHz breakup performance & ensures there is less risk of interfering vibrations from the mid-range driver sat below, giving you more precise and authentic audio.

Powerful Bass Performance

This Anniversary Edition also retains its 150mm (6in) FST Continuum Cone FST™ midrange driver and two 165mm (6.5in) paper-cone bass drivers. The Continuum cone was once reserved for B&W’s high end speakers but has now been filtered down to offer a cleaner performance and precise voices & instrumentals. 

Combined with innovative Flowport technology, the 2x bass cones will provide deep, tight bass that’s wide in scale, power and musicality. If you’re looking for a speaker with impressive bass then look no further - thanks to the separate mid-range speaker, the 2 woofers can focus solely on enhancing your listening experience with powerful bass. 

Contemporary, Refreshed Design

As the 7th iteration of the iconic 600 range, the 600 S2 Anniversary Edition series has had a slight face lift to mark its 25th year in production. A Celebratory B&W Logo has been inscribed on the tweeter surround in either a light or dark finish to expertly match the colour of your speaker. The speaker components sit within a 2-way vented-box.

As in the 6th generation of the 600 Series, the original grille pegs have been replaced by magnets to offer a neater solution and the port has been relocated to the back of the cabinet for a discreet finish.
