Top Features

Updated design features Rega's EBLT belt found in their higher-end Planar 6 model. This belt offers greater accuracy and improved speed performance.

The new RB110 tonearm is complete with high precision bearings, a new 111g ‘Plug & Play’ balance weight and automatic bias adjustment, reducing friction and ensuring the tonearm is set and ready to use when you first get it out of the box, no balancing the counterweight or anti-skate.

The Planar 1 also boasts Rega’s Carbon Cartridge as standard and a re-designed headshell which is both stiffer & more ergonomic for improved styling and function.

Iconic Design

You can see the expert craftsmanship that shines through Rega’s legacy as a turntable specialist.

The thermoset, laminated plinth is understated but stylish, newly available in both Matt Black and Matt White. Rega have removed the ‘fuss’, with just the platter and tonearm visible on the plinth & the power switch is neatly hidden.

The 23mm, higher mass, phenolic platter has an improved flywheel effect which improves speed stability, minimises friction and ensures that the audio is true to the artist’s intention.

Specially designed feet increase stability to reduce vibration transfer. A dust cover is included, featuring an intuitive hinged design to make it unobtrusive but protective.

Simple, No-Fuss Setup

All you need to do is slide the counterweight onto the tonearm to the maximum distance, remove the guard from the stylus, connect to your speaker or amp and enjoy the crackle of your favourite vinyls!

The Planar 1 requires an external pre-amp, but this allows you the flexibility to use any pre-amp and upgrade this as you go if required. We recommend checking out our Planar 1 pre-amp bundle for the whole package.

How To Use

The Planar range can be connected to a variety of speakers and amplifiers, making it versatile to your needs.

We love the ease of an active speaker like the Sonos Five and Marshall Stanmore III, allowing you to plug and play. You can also access other content easily through music streaming and digital radio.
