The 5th generation of JBL’s Flip Portable speaker offers a 12-hour battery life, an IPX7 waterproof rating and brand new racetrack-shaped drivers. This Eco edition utilises 90% Recycled Plastic, eco-friendly packaging and comes complete with a carry strap. The Flip 5 is perfect for taking on your travels or even using in the garden (weather permitting!)
Improved Driver Design
In this fifth iteration of the Flip, JBL has stripped back the older Flip 4 to focus on audio quality as the number one priority. Utilising an all-new racetrack-shaped driver, the Flip 5 offers a 20-watt output that far outperforms the speaker size.
Passive Bass Radiators sit at either end of the speaker, covered in a water-protective silicone membrane, delivering an impressive low end.
Bluetooth and JBL Connect
Powerful Bluetooth 4.2 integration offers an impressive 40m approx. of connectivity, meaning you won't be left short without connection when taking the Flip 5 out on your next adventure. Pairing is quick and doesn’t suffer from faults, so you won’t miss a minute of your favourite tunes and audio content.
Using the JBL Connect App you’ll be able to pair two PartyBoost enabled speakers to create a stereo pair or group up to 100 PartyBoost speakers in mono to play the same thing throughout the house.
Long Battery Life
A notable 12 hours of playback time is built into the JBL Flip 5, so you’ll be more than covered for a day out or even a trip away if not using the speaker all the time. The USB-C charging port cuts down charge time to just 2.5 hours from completely flat to full.
