Focusing energy into the highs and mids, the AudioEngine HD3 offers superb audio clarity and dynamic sound performance that’ll keep you coming back for more. Sporting a 2.75” woofer and ¾” tweeter, you’ll enjoy a strong low end and detailed high-mid performance. Enjoy 24 bit (upsampled) resolution up to 48kHz using the HD3’s USB Input.

Inspired by studio monitor speakers and featuring built-in 60W analog power amplifiers, the AudioEngine HD3s don’t over-simulate bass response and give you a pure, clean representation of the audio at hand. With the RCA outputs on the back of the HD3, you’re able to connect a separate Subwoofer for an increased bass output if desired.

aptX HD Bluetooth Streaming

With aptX HD Bluetooth 5.0 courtesy of the antenna on the back of the left HD3 speaker, you’ll be able to stream your favourite content straight from your phone, tablet or PC to the HD3s in brilliant hi-res quality.

Pairing with the AudioEngine HD3 takes seconds using the built-in Bluetooth pairing button. The Bluetooth pairing light will flash when in pairing mode, then turn solid to confirm that a Bluetooth connection has been made.

Retaining a timeless profile, the HD3s are the perfect choice for your desk or bookshelf. Available in three colours, black, white and walnut; you’re sure to find the perfect fit for your space in a stylish wood finish. They’re also equipped with removable, protective speaker grilles.

The left speaker face houses volume and power controls, as well as the 3.5mm headphone jack and Bluetooth pairing button. To the rear of the left speaker, you’ll find important connections such as Bluetooth reception antenna, right speaker output, RCA stereo input, 3.5mm audio input for mobile devices and micro USB input for connection to a PC. You’ll also be able to connect a separate subwoofer via the RCA outputs.

A. The antenna included with the HD3s allow these traditional HiFi speakers to pick up a Bluetooth signal and connect wirelessly with your chosen device.

Q. Do the HD3s have an auto-sleep mode?
A. Yes, the HD3s are equipped with a power-saving circuit to turn off the speakers’ final stage amp. This means you can keep the speakers on all the time.

Q. What’s the difference between the HD3s and AudioEngine HD4s?
